• FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE BEST IMPRESSION.

A shopper walking by a street will often glance at the shop window and see if there is anything of intrest,and quickly decide whether to go inside or not.Imagine the street as your SEARCH ENGINE and shop window as your site's HOME PAGE.So the home page should always be EYE-CATCHING(although mine is not!)

• DESIGN

Find the type of audience you want to visit your blog and design the page.If you are targetting young audience,design the site with graphics,animations,etc. Like for example I created my blog targetting MIDDLE AGED audience.So my blog is neither  full of graphics nor simple.

• MAKE IT SHORT

Make the writing short.People won't  like to spend time reading a 500 words essay.so make it short and informative.

• ADDs

Do not make your blog filled with adds.The readers will find it difficult to read with so many adds popping from here and there.

• BRING THE HUMOR

If you have any sense of humor,bring it to the writing so that the reader will find the reading enjoyable.
